DH got one of these at work a few years ago "for emergencies." It supposedly floats and has a really long battery life, so someone thought all employees should have one.
Now, DH won't leave home without it! It fits easily into his pants pocket and he carries it everywhere. He is always finding a use for it: reading the menu at a dark restaurant, finding something at the bottom of his backpack, looking for items that have fallen under the front seat of the car, etc., etc. Other guys are always admiring it and asking where they can get one.
Needless to say, I never get to use it, so I now have to buy one for myself. They also make great stocking stuffers and fun gifts for the person who "has everything." Two thumbs up!
