Clean Tools Wash Mitt For Serious Car Care, Natural Wool/Polyester/Nylon Blend Review

This mitt does hold soap and water well, but the problem is that it cannot remove dirt, grime, etc. easily. A cotton cloth is better than this. It does remove minor surface dirt, but for deeper stuff you need to use another type of cloth. One good thing is that it reduces the overall time spent on my car-washing from up to 2 hours down to 1 hour. Also, it is very easy to rinse out the mitt and get rid of surface dirt that attached onto the mitt from your car. Beats going to a car wash and paying $$$ for someone to use dirty cloths to wipe your car. Would NOT use it on a brand new car as the mitt surface is a bit rough. If you've got the money but a softer mitt.
As noted by a previous reviewer, this product will scratch the clearcoat on your car's paint. I have a black 2007 Honda Pilot and after I was done washing it, I could definately see the swirl marks from were I had washed it with the mitt. During the first use however, I was impressed with how much water and soap it held. I will stick to using a lambs wool mitt like I should have done in the first place. I guess you get what you pay for...

It worked the first two times, I used it. On the third time, it went died on me. There was a burning smell coming from the blower. It did a descent job when it worked, for what I paid for the blower, I knew that it wasn't going to last too long. I was looking forward to it lasting, at least the summer. Called the seller about the warranty of this unit, he told me that he would send out a replacement unit and told me to keep the old unit for parts, awaiting for unit to arrive. Don't know how long the replacement unit will last.
This so called dryer is terrible. Its very small and not powerful at all. Car club forums suggest just useing your leaf blower to quickly dry your cars.

This is the best product I have ever used, and I work at a car dealership cleaning cars. This product is safe for those who have painted wheels. I have white painted wheels on my car, and this is the only product that I can use on them without risking acid etching or completly ruining them. This works much better than anything you can buy in an autoparts store or commercially. This is expensive, but your wheels are more expensive....
It is the best there is for the job. Proper PH, won't harm the wheels, cleans thoroughly even when loaded with baked on brake dust, recommended by BMW. Outstanding product and I've been using it for about 20 years now.

Stoner 91086 More Shine Tire Coating water-based - 18 oz. Review

I've been using Stoner Tire Coating for over 10 years on some classic show cars as well as my daily drivers. I have to admit, I'm a maniac perfectionist when it comes to my cars, and I don't give stellar reviews to too many products. But this is an awesome product that does exactly what it claims. Simply spray on. No need to wipe anything. I've not had any problems with overspray on the wheels or body. Tires look fantastic and the shine holds up for quite a long time (of course, depends on weather (rain, etc.) and how much driving you do). Even more importantly - it does not "fling off" the tire and make a mess on your quarter panels like a lot of other tire dressings. It stays on the tire. I do recommend not spraying it on in your driveway without something to protect the driveway surface around the tire as it will leave a stain on the cement or asphalt. The stain usually go away after several weeks, but meantime you will have these 4 crescent-shaped stains marring your driveway. I usually pull my car into the street and apply the tire dressing there, or simply take a big piece of cardboard, cut out a small piece so it fits around the tire like a "U", and place it on the ground around the tire. Then just spray, remove the cardboard and go to the next tire and do the same. Takes less than a minute to do all 4 tires.



Also Stoner's Vinyl and Plastic coating and glass cleaner is equally impressive. I use all 3 of these products religously on all of my cars. By far the best tire, plastic/vinyl trim and glass cleaners on the market.

The Glosser Microfiber Detailing Wipes 5-pack Review

Living in Florida, you have to deal with bugs on your car which can ruin the paint. This product is fantastic because it is so easy to use, puts a light protection on your car, and it looks great! I've had many compliments on how my car looks after using this product. Sure beats paying those high prices for professional detailing and takes minutes to use - I don't have time for a full wax job. This is a must have product during love bug seasons.
I just purchased five additional packages of the detailing wipes after using one. I have a black vehichle so is very hard to keep clean. These do the trick when lightly dusting and don't streak. I will keep using them and my husband loves them too.

Meguiar's M6375 New Boat Owners Kit Review

I love Meguiar's products. I used this on a old Ski Nautique boat and was amazed at how easy and well it kept hard water deposits off of the hull. I am using it on a new boat and have trialed it compared to several other boat waxes. Hard water deposits easity came off and water scum was minimal, even if dried on for a few days. It still was beading up water after 2 months of use. The product is easy to apply and a great value. It is also recommended by Correct Craft Mfg.

Meguiar's A-2216 Deep Crystal Carnuba Wax. 16 oz. liquid Review

Meguiar's has been around since the 1930's at least, Dad used Mirror Glaze on his Model A coupe. I've used Meguiar's products and been pleased with all of them, this included. While not quite as deep a shine as Mirror Glaze, this product is a one step application and one step buffing. While very easy to apply and buff by hand, I used one of Dad's old tricks - apply wax to one panel and let it dry. Shake some baby powder or cornstarch onto a buffer pad and buff it off. The cornstarch acts as a VERY fine polishing compound and left a dazzling shine.



I get about 3 month's worth of protection from one application. I particularly like how this product really brings out the sparkle in a metallic or metalflake paint.

Sometimes I wish my car was BIGGER, just so I could wax even MORE of it with Meguiar's A-2216 Deep Crystal Carnuba Wax.



This is a labor of love, (but not a frustrating exercise in removing powdered wax from trim and other areas, like it can be when you use other brands of car waxes). I find that using a spray bottle of water and lightly spritzing that portion of the car that I am Meguiar-waxing makes the shine even more intense.



I usually wax the car twice, to get a very deep shine -- the first day I let the new wax coat settle, then the second day, hose down the car, dry it and Meugiar-Wax it again, for a beautiful deep finish.

The Original California Home and Auto Detailing Kit Review

There is no debate on this at all. For a quick way to remove dust and light dirt from your car use the California duster. Makes my black car shine great! Two thumbs up all the way!
Recieved the California duster kit from Amazon and tried it out right away. It works perfectly. The dust that would normally leave streaks if caught in a light sprinkle is gone and the shine is back. I let the wife try the smaller duster in the house and I don't think I will be getting it back. She loves how it works dusting the furniture. May have to buy another one. Gerald S.

Forever Black 4 oz. Dye Refill w/applicator top Review

My experience pretty much mimics the other reviewers, but the product is very runny and will drip down your paint finish. I masked the side moldings with Frog tape to help make the process neater, but the Forever Black just ran down the side of the car when pressing the sponge to the molding. Cleaning that up is not as easy as simply wiping it off. There should be clearer warning about this. You have to prime the sponge on another surface first, then "gently" apply it. Even then, it will run and you have to be prepared to catch it with a paper towel before it drips past the tape.
Great product. It turned the pale grey ashen looking plastic trim on my 01 Xterra a shiny jet black. It took a few coats to do the trick. Preparation is the key. you must remove all built up wax for this product to penetrate the plastic. It dries pretty quickly. Don't apply when it's windy. It dries too fast and you will get spotty results. I found that alternately applying horizontal then vertical coats yielded the best results. It's been on my car for over six weeks and has survived heavy rain and several trips to the car wash. My mechanic said " It looks like a new car". One bottle did the entire car. It even worked on the metal bumpers.

European Leather Restorer - Leather Cleaner & Conditioner 16 oz. Review

Worked better than i had hoped. Softened up my 20 year old sofa and gave it a clean comfortable feel. It is not thick or oily and it penetrates deeply and fast. Left no residue. I am extremely pleased and will use again.

Mallory 8NYE-48 Sponge Squeegee with 8" Metal Head and 48" Aluminum Telescopic Handle Review

It's nice to be able to extend the handle for large windows, but the squeegee blade leaves more streaks than others I have used. Also the first one arrived with the head sheared off at the handle, and the replacement had a dent in the blade, which increased the streaking even more. Both seemed to be the result of shipping damage as they weren't packed properly.

The product arrived with a damaged container causing half the polish to be lost. I asked for a replacement bottle to be sent but they countered with a promise of a refund. To date I have received nothing.
Used this product for 69 Camaro to keep paint finish smooth and shiny. I use California car duster, and then this to keep car clean. Do not wash car that often, and this works great at car shows. Lots of collectors use this type of product rather than repeated soap & water washes.
