CleanTools - The Absorber Drying Skin, 3.19 sq. ft., Blue (42149) Review

CleanTools - The Absorber Drying Skin, 3.19 sq. ft., Blue (42149) Review
I did alot of research into several of these so called super-towels.

I found the reviews on the Absorber to be more positive so I bought one.

I am very particular about my cleaning and detailing supplies. I used to own my own moblie detailing business and I would only use the best and exclusive supplies.

The Absorber exceeded my expectations. It works like no other towel that I have EVER used. It soaks up every single drop of water and leaves absolutely no streaks! It's like a sponge on steroids. It is the absolutely best towel that I have ever seen or used. It's a bargin for ten bucks and works great. I can't say enough about it. I wish that I would have had several of these when I was in the detailing biz...

The Absorber Synthetic Drying Chamois, 27" x 17" Review

The Absorber Synthetic Drying Chamois, 27
The only product of it's kind I will buy. I've been using them for over 20 years and they work fantastic. Great to keep on the boat.
I am still using the same absorber chamois after 20 years. It works just as well as day one. I do not understand people who gave this product a 1 star or 2 star rating. They don't know what they are talking about and certainly do not know how to read instructions on how to use this product and how to care for this product.

I used to have 2 of the absorber, but I lost one by letting it dry out. Once it is dried out it will never have it drying property back. The absorber is easy to clean. Simply rub the soiled area as you would dirty clothes under running water. Do not use soap. Soap will also reduce the absorbing ability of the absorber.

Finally store the absorber in its original plastic container with water. I usually keep the container in the bucket I used to wash the car. That way the water in the absorber container does not make a mess. It can stay in the container for several months if you added enough water.

Clean Tools Wash Mitt For Serious Car Care, Natural Wool/Polyester/Nylon Blend Review

Clean Tools Wash Mitt For Serious Car Care, Natural Wool/Polyester/Nylon Blend Review
This mitt does hold soap and water well, but the problem is that it cannot remove dirt, grime, etc. easily. A cotton cloth is better than this. It does remove minor surface dirt, but for deeper stuff you need to use another type of cloth. One good thing is that it reduces the overall time spent on my car-washing from up to 2 hours down to 1 hour. Also, it is very easy to rinse out the mitt and get rid of surface dirt that attached onto the mitt from your car. Beats going to a car wash and paying $$$ for someone to use dirty cloths to wipe your car. Would NOT use it on a brand new car as the mitt surface is a bit rough. If you've got the money but a softer mitt.
As noted by a previous reviewer, this product will scratch the clearcoat on your car's paint. I have a black 2007 Honda Pilot and after I was done washing it, I could definately see the swirl marks from were I had washed it with the mitt. During the first use however, I was impressed with how much water and soap it held. I will stick to using a lambs wool mitt like I should have done in the first place. I guess you get what you pay for...

The Glosser Microfiber Detailing Wipes 5-pack Review

The Glosser Microfiber Detailing Wipes 5-pack Review
Living in Florida, you have to deal with bugs on your car which can ruin the paint. This product is fantastic because it is so easy to use, puts a light protection on your car, and it looks great! I've had many compliments on how my car looks after using this product. Sure beats paying those high prices for professional detailing and takes minutes to use - I don't have time for a full wax job. This is a must have product during love bug seasons.
I just purchased five additional packages of the detailing wipes after using one. I have a black vehichle so is very hard to keep clean. These do the trick when lightly dusting and don't streak. I will keep using them and my husband loves them too.

The Absorber Synthetic Drying Chamois, Travel Size, 17" x 13" Review

The Absorber Synthetic Drying Chamois, Travel Size, 17
I've been using these for years and I haven't found a better one yet. Even Sham-Wow falls short in some areas.

Absorber Uses: In the shower, wipe down tiles and glass quickly, dry your hair, wipe off water from your bod. In the garage, 'shammy' your wet car. In the yard, wipe dry wet lawn furniture. In the house, wipe clean any surface, damp-wipe dirty screens, dry Fido after a bath (Sham-Wow works a bit better for this). On the lake, keep one in your kayak/boat to wipe dry after use. To maintain, just wash it in the washer. Never develops a sour odor. Great product. This is my 'Magic Towel'!

BTW, Sham-Wow works okay for the above, but does not dry surfaces without streaking. Also, you must maintain it more, by not washing it with softeners. Sham-Wow excels at picking up (absorbing) liquids from carpet or fabrics. The Absorber isn't made for this type of chore.
My husband LOVED this. He is very particular about the car, so I got him one. For it to be such a small thing, he sure was happy!
