Turtle Wax T-240KT Headlight Lens Restorer Kit Review

Turtle Wax T-240KT Headlight Lens Restorer Kit Review
I have a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer and Impala and live in central Texas. On the Impala it has had some scratches. I bought the Trailblazer used and it came from Arizona and had extensive clouding and some scratches. It did the trick on both cars. It took approx 30-40 minutes per car but that does include some time taping off the lights so overspray is contained. Just focus on the areas you need buff with one hand and spray with the other (yes Daniel-san buff on, spray off). Once it "feels" smooth, move to the next pad until you get through all 4. **Just make sure when using the pads you alternate between directions (i.e. pad 1 left right, then pad 2 up and down, pad 3 left right, pad 4 up down). Keep the spray going on the pads. Once you are done, use the little wipe on all of them going left righ and up down. (Turtle wax could have included more of the wipes but Oh well). I am planning on using some "ice" products to further protect the finish. Otherwise you can see the results as soon as you buff it all down. If it doesn't look good enough to you, just repeat the buffing steps to get it to where you need to. On the Trailblazer it took 2 runs, the Impala just one. Get a stool to sit on and have fun.

I read other reviews and purchased this product. It is amazing. It does take time, about 1/2 hour each headlight, but they now look as good as new and it's amazing what a difference it makes in the overall look of the car. If I had known about this product before now I would have done this years ago when they first started to get cloudy. Very, very easy to use, just follow the enclosed instructions. A small suggestion, when you think that you're done, work on it another 10 or 15 minutes and it gets even better, almost as good as new.
