Nu Vinyl Protectant Review
Nu Vinyl is a protectant composition similar to, but better than Armor-all. It does a good job of bringing out the color of black plastic/rubber/vinyl trim, while leaving a glossy and waterproof finish. You'll get the best results if you apply two coats over two days.
The Nu Finish formula is quite thin, so be careful not to spill it when applying it to a paper towel/microfiber.
Here in the Las Vegas area, vinyl materials in cars deteriorates in appearance pretty fast - and it eventually cracks. For the last twenty years I have been using Armor All for his purpose.... But it has been a marginal product, greasy feeling, collects dust, and also evaporates pretty quickly.
Nu Vinyl, which I tried on the recommendation of a girlfriend who uses it her vinyl purses and boots, said it was really great. So I gave it a test on the dashboard of my car, and it was a superior product from the very beginning. Easy to use, not greasy feeling, it gives the vinyl a very nice new look without cheap shininess and without the tendency to collect dust. And, it lasts a great deal longer while looking better than the Armor All.
I also use it on the exterior vinyl parts, and black painted trim, and windshield wiper arms and blades - it makes my car look like new. I have tried it on some leather - with the same wonderful results. I have been using it now for over three years, and am still very enthusiastic about this product. It is definitely worth the price.
