I have used this for over a year and have been able to get good results on a dark car. Essentially, the only real useful part of this is the water filter that you use to rinse at the end to avoid any watermarks. With time, the hose connection will start to leak and spray all over you. The soap is OK and really any car wash soap can be used. The key is the filter.
